I try to keep most of my art-to-wear pieces and home decor items to several standard sizes that most people are looking for. However, if you need an exact size, I'm happy to work with you if I can. Each listing will have both the actual measurements and the sizes I offer currently. (For example I make scarves in three standard widths. 5-6" wide is what I call my "Skinny Scarf".)

Please set up custom orders as far in advance as possible, as there are seasonal rushes for gift accessories and home dec. The sooner the better.

The MTO (made-to-order) listings start with a BASE PRICE, and depending on which options you choose, I clearly state in advance what those charges will total and exactly what you're getting.
The only things I usually cannot include in a standard MTO listing are changes in width and some other factors. If this looks like the case, I will create a personalized listing just for you, with the details clearly itemized for you.

I always include laundering instructions. If an item isn't at least hand-washable, I usually work offer it for sale. Most of my items will last for many years if you follow the simple guidelines included with your purchase.

Gift wrapping with simple tissue paper and a decorative ribbon is always available. If there is an additional charge, it will be included in that listing. Please request gift wrap when ordering in the "comments" section.

Always! I also use homemade cleaning products from basic, organic ingredients. I do have a shop kitty (Lily!) but I don't allow her free access to supplies.

I hate fussing with my accessories! I've found that natural fibers are very friendly and sociable! They like to hug each other, and my custom blended handspun art yarn is designed for maximum loft, body, and flexibility. Fibers like bamboo, silk and alpaca stay are slippery but we love them. To counteract some of that drape and slip, I add cotton and merino.
Don't forget shawl pins!

I use several types, including vintage pins that I otherwise would never wear.
Pins are best when they are lightweight and smooth. I'm developing a line of stretchy art bands that can be used to secure a scarf quickly.
